Cookie Notice

Northstar currently uses only storage reasonably necessary to provide, secure, or remember a feature you request:

• Authentication: Clerk uses cookies and browser storage to maintain your session, prevent abuse, and support sign-in and account security.
• Hosting and security: Vercel or infrastructure providers may use short-lived security cookies or request identifiers to route traffic and defend the service.
• Feature state: Northstar may use browser session storage to avoid repeating the same on-device reminder during a session and local interface storage for preferences.
• Connected and payment flows: Plaid and Stripe may set essential cookies when you deliberately open their hosted connection, checkout, or billing interfaces.

Northstar does not currently use advertising cookies, cross-site behavioural tracking, or optional analytics cookies. Because the current cookies are essential to services you request, there is no separate advertising-cookie banner. If we add non-essential analytics, personalization, or advertising technologies, we will update this notice and request consent before using them where required.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser and can use private browsing controls. Blocking essential authentication or security storage may prevent sign-in or connected-provider flows from working. Browser notification permission is separate and can be withdrawn in your device or browser settings. Disabling email reminders is available in Northstar.

Session technologies generally expire when the session or provider-defined period ends. Preference storage remains until you clear it or the application replaces it. Provider retention periods can vary; consult the provider's notice for its hosted pages. We will update the date and version when our practices materially change.
